Every festival is only as good as the people involved and the guidelines they are willing to follow. Last year was a real success, and represented what will hopefully be the first of many "Gatherings" to come!"
Compliance with all Festival, Village, County, State and Federal laws and regulations is mandated. Underage drinking will not be tolerated, and drinking and driving is strictly prohibited. All individuals choosing to partake in alcohol consumption do so of their own will and at their own risk. Bringing any of the following items to the festival will be considered a blatant violation of the guidelines set forth herein. These violations will constitute immediate invitation revocation and ejection of all parties associated with the violation.
Pets (of any kind) - We all have animals that we love, which is why we do not bring them to outdoor festivals. This means dogs too!
Weapons - Safety first. Weapons have no place at non-violent events.
Fire Burning Accessories - No Open Fires…Period.
Illegal Substances - If it is against the law to possess, do not bring it to the festival.
Fireworks - We know they can be fun, but the noise and potential hazard pose too great a risk.
Bad Attitudes and Violent Behavior - It's all about fun, not trouble.
Now that you know what things do not belong at this festival, let's have a look at some items you will want to bring to ensure that your festival experience is a truly positive one.
Your Invitation - All those attending the festival must present an invitation. You can get an invitation online here.
A Donation - Although the Gathering Soul Music Festival is a non-profit, private event,
we are respectfully requesting a $25 donation per car load (cars, vans, trucks, campers) to help cover
festival expenses and clean up. A portion of these proceeds will be donated to a local charity. The
charity of choice will be determined at the close of the show Saturday night via crowd response. Be sure
to stop by the merchant area to find out more information about each charity being offered and decide which
one is YOUR favorite!
*Please contact Gathering Soul management for limousine and bus donation requests.
Shelter - For camping or simply relaxing. (RV's, Vans, and Campers are allowed, yet no full hook-ups will be provided)
Trash Bags/Recycle Containers - We would really appreciate you cleaning up after yourself. In addition, please be mindful of others when smoking and disposing of cigarettes.
Food and Water - Nutrients are always a necessity. Coolers are welcome, yet open bottles and cans are not.
Personal Hygiene Supplies - This is an outdoor event. Take care of yourself. Insect repellent is also a good idea. *Please note: There are bathrooms and showers available for use.
Lighting and/or Flashlights - Certainly recommended for nighttime activities.
All Weather Clothing - Temperatures do vary and rain is a possibility. Do not forget, this event is Rain or Shine.
Fishing Gear - There is a beautiful pond onsite for your fishing pleasure.
